Knight's Platinum Stud
Hi there! Saw you added some comments to this item - which icon is missing? If we don't currently have a generic icon for it (check Category talk: Earring Icons), then it's okay to upload one for this item specifically. Sethladan 12:25, 9 November 2011 (EST)
Skirmish Items
Hey SpellBuilder, and congrats with your promotion! You've been doing great work with creating all these new RoI skirmish drops. I was wondering about this: those items drop dependent of the skirmish campaign they're in (Cannuilan, Eruilan, Adlan etc). How about changing the sentence on item pages to reflect this? For example "This item is dropped from the Fancy Wood Chest in level 75 12-man Cannuilan skirmishes." We could create pages for "Cannuilan Campaign" etc, listing which skirmishes belong there, and then linking there from the item pages. We can always keep the "Confirmed drop" part if you want to be absolutely sure about it. Please let me know what you think of this idea. --Ravanel (talk) 06:05, 12 November 2011 (EST)
- Hiya. I saw you did what I suggested, so I guess you thought it was a good idea. Feel free to answer here, so I know what you think (you can sign what you wrote with your name by using four tildes like this: ~~~~). I've added pages for Skirmish Campaigns, so you can use these to link to instead of the campaign marks. Example: Item:Helm of Parted Clouds. We could also consider adding the loot to the campaign they drop in (e.g. add Item:Helm of Parted Clouds to Naillan Campaign and Enguilan Campaign), so we get an overview of the drops per campaign. What are your thoughts? --Ravanel (talk) 06:44, 21 November 2011 (EST)
- Hey! I was not sure about how to answer. I think last version of template for skirmish drop items is good (with campaign links). I am doing now table with all lvl75 skirmish drop in my /Sandbox, and when it is complete we can post it in appropriate place. And I do not think it is a good idea to put reward in Campaign details, because it drops only on lvl75 and only in 12-man raid size. SpellBuilder (talk) 07:48, 22 November 2011 (EST)
- All good. :) I was thinking of adding as campaign details that they only drop on those occasions, of course. I think it would be a logical place for people to search. You can then see directly what stuff drops from the campaign you're doing or are planning to do at that very moment. It might be easier than looking this up in this big table of yours. Both can exist next to each other, of course. The table for comparing shinies and the loot per campaign if you want a fast overview. But these are just thoughts. --Ravanel (talk) 17:44, 22 November 2011 (EST)
- One more thing. Is it possible to make a tooltip for campaign links? Just small ones with names of skirmishes included. So when I hover mouse on Eruilan Campaign it will show me in small black box names of 3 skirmishes. SpellBuilder (talk) 18:20, 22 November 2011 (EST)
- I saw you made a format for loot on campaign pages, good work! What you asked is not existent at the moment. It might be that it can be designed by one of our wiki nerds. They all seem to be busy these days though, so it will have to depend on if they have time and enthusiasm. --Ravanel (talk) 20:52, 23 November 2011 (EST)

Do either of you know whether the skirmish campaigns are still going to be around after Update 5? The various campaign marks are all being combined into a single Mark currency, but I'm not sure if that means they're doing away with the idea of campaigns entirely. I'd just hate for you to do all that work if it's something that's about to disappear. -- Elinnea (talk) 19:56, 22 November 2011 (EST)
- I do not know what will be after Update 5, but I do not believe, that they will just remove all Item drop from skirmishes. Even if marks are replaced with some other currency, items should remain as they were. So at least we have _database_ of items with its drop location SpellBuilder (talk) 20:44, 22 November 2011 (EST)
- Possible noob question: Do Campaigns serve any purpose other than to have different marks dropping from them (and thus different rewards for those marks)? (Not really related to the above, but I always wondered...) Sethladan 21:37, 22 November 2011 (EST)
- Prior to RoI the only difference between Campaigns were different marks for barter some cosmetics. After Update 4 (RoI), you can get unique Armour/Jewelry reward on weekly basis by doing 12-man raid size skirmishes on level 75. This reward is specific to campaigns, and I am trying to put all things together in one table in my /Sandbox. SpellBuilder (talk) 05:44, 23 November 2011 (EST)

Deleting Items
Hello again! I deleted the Over-sized Hill Giant's Ring icon for you - nice job catching a duplicate image. :) If you need something deleted (only admins can do that), you can flag a page with {{Delete Page}} - that's "Delete Page" in double curly braces. Keep up the good work! Sethladan 13:44, 22 November 2011 (EST)
