Naming

Why are we calling this "Offensive", "Defensive" and "Support"? Why not just blue, red, yellow? Also, maybe add a Legendary Items tap here? Hierok (talk) 07:45, 29 October 2024 (UTC)

Why are we calling this "Offensive", "Defensive" and "Support"? Why not just blue, red, yellow?

I'm going to change it to blue/red/yellow, as you suggested.

Original naming scheme came from good/bad web development practices: it's usually a bad idea to use color as a name of some entity. For example, "white" isn't a good choice to name a page background color. With dark themes white is no longer a de facto standard for a page background. I tried to generalize trait trees names for different classes and came up with offense/defense/support. You're right pointing out that red/blue/yellow are much more accepted terms for that in LOTRO community (Red Warden).

Also, maybe add a Legendary Items tap here?
