Hello, Garabrand, and welcome to LotRO-Wiki, the Lord of the Rings Online Wiki! Some useful pointers:
We hope you enjoy editing here!

Glad you made it in despite the account creation issues. Welcome aboard. :) Sethladan 16:06, 12 May 2012 (EDT)
Loot Pages and Icons
Thanks for filling in more pieces of loot - it's helpful information that is often very hard (or impossible) to find anywhere else.
One note on the icons though: they should be 32 x 32 pixels, and the ones you've recently uploaded have been a little off-center or had extra pixels around the edges. There are some instructions on working with images and icons at Help:Images. Give a shout if you have any questions about it. :) -- Elinnea (talk) 11:43, 15 May 2012 (EDT)
- I cannot but echo Elinnea, thanks for you many great submissions. -- Zimoon 03:40, 18 May 2012 (EDT)
Promotion
Over time you have submitted tons of useful stuff and it is a shame that none of us "bureaucrats" have promoted you, my sincerest apologies. You are now promoted to Ninja and what can we say but to keep up the brilliant work! -- Zimoon 01:51, 24 October 2012 (EDT)
- Even though you were promoted to Ninja the other day, that was long overdue. With hundreds of submissions of good quality, backtracking your mistakes, and it is obvious that you learn from minor corrections senior editors do, hence it is clear that you deserve being promoted to Editor. With Editor comes responsibilities, we are certain you will handle them well and we are happy to see you as one of the team. Feel free to use IRC if you have questions or just want to chat a while. Thanks again for your good work, keep it up, will you?
-- Zimoon 16:03, 26 October 2012 (EDT)
- Hi Zim,
- I really have no clue how to work this talk page or to add to others (short of just editing them), but if you could kindly let me know what should be expected of me in my new roles. I've been focusing mainly on the new expansion as that will be what most players will be looking for info on and since I have 4 75+ characters. Please let me know hwo to work talk and what you'd like me to work on besides Rohan. Thank you!
- Garabrand (talk) 17:20, 26 October 2012 (EDT)
- Editing them is what we do, and as any page you edit end up at "My watchlist" (your's supposedly) you will see when somebody has edited something. Most senior editors view that list several times a day in addition to "Recent changes". Hence talking over one another's talk-page works well, if slow.
- Honestly there is not anything you need to feel a pressure for. Take the day as it comes, as it always has ;)
- Perhaps keeping an eye at "unpatrolled" edits and correct them if necessary or just mark them "patrolled" if they seem OK. I guess that is it. -- Zimoon 17:45, 26 October 2012 (EDT)
- Unpatrolled edits show up on the Recent changes page with a little red exclamation mark on the left side. At the moment they're cleared out, so there's not much to see. When you click on "Hide patrolled edits" at the top of that page it will show only the unpatrolled edits in recent history.
- The main privilege (and responsibility) from your promotion is that your posts will now be automatically marked patrolled - so we trust you to add reliable information to the wiki. Of course we all try to check each others' work as well. So just keep on doing what you're doing. :) -- Elinnea (talk) 18:02, 26 October 2012 (EDT)
Hytbold
Since I've been sidetracked with both moving and WINE/LOTRO issues... I just noticed you've been doing a bunch of Hytbold stuff...
Some boilerplate for the relationship between Hytbold quests, rewards and armour sets, along with some assorted notes is here:
User:Magill/Projects-RoR-Hytbold-scratch
Some of the Armour set names are "guesses."
Feel free to whip it into a "real page" -- no idea what to call it.
Sigh, the movers show up at 8am tomorrow... :( Wm Magill - Valamar - OTG/OTC (talk) 21:53, 30 October 2012 (EDT)
- Thanks for the link! Being completely honest, I don't know how to put it into a "real page" format yet...I'm mostly focusing on getting items filled in and ensuring they match the format things seem to be in. If you have any input on the page for the Hytbold Armour Sets, let me know and I'll do my best to get it right :) Garabrand (talk) 09:34, 31 October 2012 (EDT)

Epic Quests
I finally took my main through the rohan epic, and now have screenshots for the entire remainder of the chain. I'll be working on them in the next few days in case anyone was thinking about it or wanted to collaborate. Please feel free to mercilessly edit anything I'll be getting wrong, I'm still a bit new to creating quests. Garabrand (talk) 14:05, 13 November 2012 (EST)
- Great, I was planning to go through more of the epic line this weekend as well. So I'll probably be following in your footsteps, and will check everything carefully. It looks good so far. :) -- Elinnea (talk) 11:57, 14 November 2012 (EST)
- Ran into a couple hitches where I discovered I missed a couple screens for the epics. I'm mising exactly what Ingbert says to his daughter in the Homecoming instance after she says she won't allow him to speak to Horn rudely. I'm also missing the end of the Quest:Chapter 13: The Ghost Vanishes, if anyone is at that stage and would like to add those sections. Thank you for your help! Exemplary drops
Are you adding these items based off of Compendium Item Scanner screenshots? Because those incorrectly show level 75 stats, not level 85. -- Eggolass (talk) 15:32, 18 December 2012 (EST)
- I was searching around for items and came across this page, which had mainly 85 items: https://www.dhdro-drachenkrieger.de/web/rohanloot/%28Update%209%29%20D%FCsterwald. Since they never had any items for anything over lv65 for Mirkwood, I guess I never thought about the stats only being for lv75, but I see it now that you mention it. Garabrand (talk) 16:04, 18 December 2012 (EST)
- Did you actually see Cloak of the Exemplary Guardian in-game? It was supposed to have been replaced with Ring of the Exemplary Guardian when the beta ended, and I didn't see the cloak in a Compendium item scan on Live. -- Eggolass (talk) 07:47, 28 December 2012 (EST)
- I didn't see it in game, but it was just a recent update to one of the pages that I check to see if there have been any updates. I'm looking through to see where it was, but I wanted to throw it in here in case it comes up again. I know I'm perhaps being a bit too proactive with things I haven't actually seen in game, but I like that this site is a place people can go to and find out what's out there since there are so few places you can look for these items. Garabrand (talk) 11:42, 28 December 2012 (EST)
Hi just fixed some stats on Item:Figurine of the Exemplary Champion, wanted you to know, and removed your stub (ingame confirm) Tiberivs (talk) 08:52, 3 May 2013 (EDT)
In-Game Misspellings
Referring to the change you made: https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php?title=User%3AEggolass%2FUpdate_10_Item_Checklist&diff=561130&oldid=561011
Have they fixed the spelling of the item in-game? I realize that how I spelled it was a typo, but that's exactly how it was spelled on the piece of gear I took a screenshot of (which means that although it's a typo, it's Turbine's typo and how it is displayed in the game.)
- I haven't seen a new screen of the item in-game, but since we know that it's the kingdom of "Arnor" and not "Arnorn", it makes sense to ensure that at least we have it right. If we started getting into the things Turbine has done wrong, it'd never end. In case noone let you know before, to put your signature and timestamp into an edit (so we know who's saying what :P), just put 4 tildes (~) in a row at the end of your post. Cheers! Garabrand (talk) 17:28, 30 March 2013 (EDT)
- Eggolass made a list of the items that were currently misspelled and what they should be once they're fixed. I figured that was a better method to go about keeping track of them, in case someone wanted to do a search of an item they found in-game and couldn't find the article because it's spelled correctly here and not in-game. But it honestly doesn't matter to me, as long as everyone's on the same page.
- Also, my bad on the signature thing. It's been a while since I've edited a Wiki. SnDragon (talk) 20:05, 30 March 2013 (EDT)

Just putting the info about the class here to be worked on. I've put in a few colors, but what I've left out: The ranks and cooldowns are in darker green text.
