It was recently burned down in an attack by Orcs from the East Wall. Rebuilding the town will allow access to class armor, special resource instances and more.

If your character chooses to rebuild Hytbold complete the following:

Reach level 84 (most quests are 85)
Fastred will send you a Letter to lead the effort to rebuild the town.
Complete quest To Hytbold (in your mailbox) and Welcome to Hytbold
Complete Aiding the Eastemnet quests (daily) for Tokens of Hytbold
Use the tokens to rebuild the town and barter for class armour sets.
