Haradwen
 |
Haradwen was given her name by the people of Gondor, meaning 'Woman of the South'. Although she never speaks of her past, they read from her appearance that she came from the land of Harad, being dark-skinned and wearing the red and gold of their people. Why she isn't fighting for the forces of Mordor but travels the lands of Middle-earth instead, remains a mystery. Haradwen herself is silent about the subject. |

The first time that Haradwen was spotted in Middle-earth, she was in the company of a female Elf warden called Rhíawen. Together they traveled through the whole of Eriador. Although it is not certain what brought these two women together, it is rumoured that the friends share a particular hatred against men. |
