Trap

Trap skills are a unique Hunter utilization that allow the Hunter to place a trap on the battlefield. Each trap can only affect a single enemy. After execution of the skill, the trap will be located in front of the Hunter, and lasts until an enemy enters it (or until it expires after 1 minute). While the Hunter does not have default access to Traps, certain traits in the Trapper of Foes specialization grant access to and improves these skills.

Changes since Legacy of Morgoth
Since Update 45 Allies and Adversaries, the Trapper Of Foes line has been revised.
From the Hunter Developer Diary:
- For the Trapper of Foes, the following changes aim to overhaul this specialization into one capable of matching other true support specializations (yellow-line Lore-master, Burglar, and Mariner). These changes should minimize this specialization’s focus on traps and roots, which are both awkward to use in combat and functionally less useful than the abilities available to other classes. In their place, the yellow-line Hunter now has greater access to more useful CC like stuns, mezzes, and knockdowns delivered with more ranged skills and more interaction with your Focus resource.
