Complete Volume II Book 9: Fortress of the Nazgûl

You have journeyed with the Golden Host into the depths of Mirkwood, where the Elves led a great assault upon Dol Guldur. There can be no lasting victory here, but even a delay of the forces arrayed there has value. Reinforcements march from the East, and the Golden Host will need to fall back before them, but its goal has been accomplished: to draw the attention of the Nazgûl and their master to Mirkwood, rather than elsewhere.
