King Telumehtar was the 28th King of Gondor, ruling from 1798 to 1850 of the Third Age. In T.A. 1810, he soundly defeated the Corsairs of Umbar and took the name Umbardacil (Umbar-victor).
Telumehtar ruled Gondor for 52 years, and was succeeded by his son, Narmacil. He was honored with a statue and plaque on the Pier of Minas Tirith.
