Tarciryan (Quenya for High-ship) was son of the 11th King of Gondor, Siriondil. Upon his father's death, the crown passed to Tarciryan's older brother, Tarannon Falastur. Tarciryan had a son, Eärnil, and later died before his older brother did. Tarciryan's brother Tarannon died childless, and thus the crown passed to Tarciryan's son, who would become Eärnil I Ciryatan.
