Now moved to Healer (Trait) to reflect naming of other trait pages. This page being a disambiguation page seems to work fine.--Ravanel (talk) 10:42, 5 November 2011 (EDT)

Today I fixed 80+ faulty links pointing to this disambig page, whereof none should have been Healer (Trait), 2 should have been Healer (Role), and the rest should have been NPC Healer.

I posted at Category talk:Disambiguation Pages that "I believe it is hereby proven beyond doubt that disambigue pages should be avoided at all costs. Only when there are no alternatives they may be a last resort, though it is beyond my brain to figure out such a use case."

Perhaps educating them is a better option than removing a page that serves a purpose, even if you can't think of a use case for it. Galbus (talk) 13:13, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

A disambig page with just 3 2 links does not really serves a purpose. And just 3 links is also against Lotro-wiki's policy about disambig pages as such I think :-)   — Zimoon 19:42, 9 April 2022 (UTC)

Is it save to delete this page now? It has been sitting in pages to delete for awhile after reading through discussion I see there was some issue with searching. Oakheart (talk) 03:56, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

Since i think the discussion about this was on discord or somewhere else, i will repost the issue here.

When you type "Healer" in the search box - its the first result following many "Item:Healer's". The search strips whitespaces so typing "Healer " does not yield different results. This means its quite hard to land on the "Healer" pages trough search, even tho they are probably the most relevant results. To find them you need to search for specific healer like "Healer (".

In my opinion these healer pages are not exactly necessary and could use just one Healer page, but that is a different discussion. --Drono (talk) 07:06, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

Right do we really need a Healer (Role) Page it is more a definition then anything thing else and should just be listed in game terms. --Oakheart (talk) 16:54, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
