The bloated descendants of Ungoliant's children have crept forth from the dark places of the earth, seeking ever greater darkness and to darken that which is light. Moria lured them with its long shadows and forgotten halls, and they feast on any sorry creature that loses its way.

While spiders can spawn in various areas of the Water-works and Foundations of Stone regions, larger concentrations of spiders can be found at the following places:

There are about 18 spiders inside, outside and below The Lost Palace in the Water-works ^{[15.0S, 114.9W]}.
Three are about 23 spiders in the spider lair Tunzelgund in the Foundations of Stone ^{[12.9S, 99.2W]}.
The latter half of the Skûmfil ^{[13.2S, 100.4W]} instance, with 60 spiders, several of which are rapidly regenerating for an easy deed completion.
The repeatable instance, The Spider-nest, also featuring respawning spiders.
