Introduction
Keepers of the Southern Stars is a mixed kinship welcoming all races and classes.
We are a social, Australian-founded kinship focused on enjoying all aspects of LOTRO. Activities include questing, crafting, music concerts, raiding, and festivals.
While we’re Aussie-led and operate in AEST, we proudly welcome players from any timezone or background who enjoy a friendly, no-pressure environment.
Our goal is to create a relaxed, helpful, and fun community for players of all experience levels.
Kinship History
Keepers of the Southern Stars was founded in 2025 on the Legendary Mordor server by a small group of family and friends who had been playing LOTRO for over a decade.
The kinship began as a passion project — a way to build something meaningful and welcoming from the ground up. Our founding members are all long-time lovers of the game, and as we grow, we hope to maintain the spirit of community, creativity, and light-hearted fun that brought us together in the first place.
Recruitment
We are currently a new and growing kinship, open to players of all levels and playstyles, and are currently recruiting.
We especially welcome players who enjoy learning, teaching, and helping shape a positive and inclusive community.
To join, simply message Mirlothiel in-game, or chat to any online officer. New members are encouraged to introduce themselves and get involved at their own pace.
We have a dedicated Discord server for all Kinship activities and chats.
