Shortened Account

A Shortened Account is a written overview of a Session Play adventure. It allows a player to skip the Session Play experience and continue the quest line. Shortened Accounts were not included when the quests were first released, but have been added later for a number of difficult or time-consuming session plays.

A Shortened Account is an item, usually a book or scroll, that is near the quest giver. Clicking on it brings up a Quest dialog box.
