Description

Saija is a wise woman who lives in the cave Näky-kolo, far away at the west side of the Ice Bay. Yrjänä, the Council Elder of the Lossoth, has faith in the words she speaks, but her true allegiances are questionable. Visitors should know that she refers to ships as sea-monsters and the Elves who rode them as Vanha-väki (or The Old-crowd).

It is revealed in the epic quest Volume I, Book 13, Chapter 9: The Path of Aearil that Saija is not a Lossoth, but is in fact the Mistress of Angmar, Amarthiel in disguise. She took on the identity of a wise-woman as a means to keep an eye on her Angmarim champion, Mordrambor, who she suspects of treachery.
