This quest is active only during Ranger Session Play. To start the ranger session, players must invest 500 Commendations. Failing the Ranger in the Ettenmoors quest (by dying before 1 hour has passed) will automatically fail the corresponding session play quest (either Aid from the Rangers or Against the Stone-foe).

Quest Text

Background A scarce few Rangers from Esteldín came east to the Ettenmoors to support Lainedhel's efforts against Angmar's army. Objective 1 Patrol the Ettenmoors Do not be defeated Patrol the Ettenmoors in search of the Enemy. You must patrol for 60 minutes. After 60 minutes you will be returned to your post. Uirnen: 'Trolls have been called from the north. We must redouble our efforts, else the Free Peoples here will fall, and Angmar will flood Eriador through the Trollshaws. Steel your nerve, brother, and know that the hero who stands at your post will not fail us.' Objective 2 Completed You have finished your patrol.
