This skill can be used while moving, unlike most other induction skills.

Skill Interactions

This skill is classified as a Focus Builder. In addition to generating Focus, the classification is relevant for several traits and traceries.

When traited, this skill has a chance to temporarily make  Exsanguinate available to be used.

• The trait  Fast Draw in the Bowmaster trait tree makes this skill apply or tier up Fast Draw on the Hunter, up to 3 times.
• The trait  Quick Shot Focus in the Huntsman trait tree makes this skill have up to a 20% chance to generate 1 additional Focus.
• The trait  Volley in the Huntsman trait tree makes this skill consume all stacks of Volley on the Hunter to deal increased damage.
• The trait  Exsanguinate in the Huntsman trait tree makes this skill have up to a 15% chance to make  Exsanguinate temporarily available for use.
• The set bonus  Archer's Mark in the Trapper of Foes trait tree makes this skill have a 50% chance to apply or tier up Archer's Mark on the enemy target, up to 3 times.
• The trait  Plant Feet in the Bowmaster trait tree makes the Hunter take -20% Incoming Damage while inducting this skill.

Equipping 6 pieces of the Umbari Armour of the Unshakeable Viper armour set makes this skill apply or tier up Planted Draw on the Hunter, up to 5 stacks. Equipping 4 pieces of the Umbari Armour of the Jungle Ghost armour set makes this skill reduce the active cooldown of  Distracting Shot by 2 seconds.

When using a Fire Oil, critical hits apply  Searing Heat to the enemy target. When using a Light Oil, critical hits apply  Blinded by the Light.

Trivia

As of the Update 45: Allies and Adversaries release, Quick Shot is now usable while moving, even when it has an induction when specialized in red or yellow line.
