Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'These plans you gathered, <name>, are deeply disturbing to me. While I believe the encampments we have here in Moria to be strong enough to withstand any assault, Mekhem-bizru in the Dimrill Dale is new and weak...it has not yet been fortified. It would be a disaster if this plan of Mazog's is not averted. 'Inform Alrekur at Mekhem-bizru in the Dimrill Dale of the impending attack. To get there, head east, through Nud-melek, past what remains of the Bridge of Khazad-dûm and out the First Hall. 'Make haste, <name>. We cannot afford to lose our foothold in the Dale.' Background The plans revealed that Mazog is moving to destroy Mekhem-bizru in the Dimrill Dale and then move against Lothlórien. Objective 1 Talk to Alrekur at Mekhem-bizru Alrekur is at Mekhem-bizru in the Dimrill Dale, far to the east of the Twenty-first Hall and past the gates of the First Hall. Geirfast asked you to head to Mekhem-bizru in the Dimrill Dale and inform Alrekur that Mazog is planning to attack the small outpost. Geirfast: 'You should warn Alrekur at Mekhem-bizru at once of the Orcs' imminent attack!' Alrekur: 'Geirfast is a good dwarf, but he is too much of a worrier. Not that his worries are unfounded, mind you. 'We have seen the Orcs moving about for several days now. Something is definitely going on. I do not yet know what, but it surely does not bring us good tidings.'
