Walkthrough & Notes

To get to Baradal head North from the entrance. (The entrance is on the southern portion of the eastern wall.) I believe the cage one starts in is in the Southwest portion of the complex; you need to head both north and east to get to Baradel. There is a narrow bridge and a narrow tunnel that each connect the western portion with the eastern portion of the complex. The Orc Jailor can be found wandering arround, I found him in the Southwest corner of the map.

Bestowal Dialogue 'This must be Shathur-munzu. We know not what lies inside, but it is my charge to clear it of anyone or anything that would bring harm to Lady Arwen. When you are ready, we will enter.' Background The time has come to see what lies inside Shathur-munzu. Whatever awaits, your goal is to clear it of danger for Lady Arwen's arrival. Objective 1 Complete 'Instance: The Shadow Hunter' The time has come to enter Shathur-munzu. You should complete 'Instance: The Shadow Hunter.' Baradal: 'Wait, do you hear that?' Complete the Instance: The Shadow Hunter Objective 2 Completed Completed. Remote Quest Advance: You find yourself in a den of wargs and Orc-kind. Baradal is nowhere to be seen, and it is very likely she is in grave danger. You should make your way through Shathur-munzu and find her before it is too late. Be wary; Ránulur the warg chieftain, or the 'Shadow-hunter', as he is known to the locals, may still be near. Objective 3 Find Baradal Baradal is somewhere inside Shathur-munzu. She may be in danger. You should find Baradal. Baradal: Baradal is barely conscious. She stirs as you approach. '<name>...? Where am I?' She is still dazed from the warg attack. You should find a way to get her out of this cage before Ránulur returns. Objective 4 Attempt to break the lock Baradal is locked inside a cage in Shathur-munzu, injured and in danger. You should attempt to break open her cage. The lock resists your attempts Objective 5 Completed Completed. Remote Quest Advance: It seems this lock is too sturdy to be opened by force. You will need to find the key. It is probably being carried by an Orc or goblin somewhere inside Shathur-munzu. Objective 6 Defeat the Orc jailor Acquire the crude iron key Somewhere inside Shathur-munzu, an Orc holds the key to Baradal's cage. You should find and defeat the Orc jailor. Defeated the Orc jailor This key looks like it may open the lock on Baradal's cage Objective 7 Open the strong lock Now that you have the key, you should return to Baradal's cage and try to open it. The lock springs open, freeing Baradal Objective 8 Talk to Baradal Baradal has been freed from her cage. You should talk to Baradal. Baradal: '<name>, I think I am recovering my senses. What has happened?'
