Walkthrough & Notes

The first Scrap of Paper is on the far southeast corner of the Hall Under the Mountain - it is on the ledge above the alcove where Bingir_(Erebor), the Relic-master, stands. To see the scrap, stand next to the Relic-master and look up! Use "Del - U" to highlight it. It sparkles. To reach the scrap, return to the stairs with the door guards and walk along the ledge. You may have to "use" it twice in order to update the quest. The translation of the text is "Kheledzâram". The second Scrap of Paper is on the southwest shore of the Lake Mirrormere at [14.2S, 76.3W] in the Dimrill Dale - a pedestal appears there and becomes interactable only at night (Gloaming, Evening, Midnight, Late Watches, and Foredawn). The pedestal [14.1S, 76.3W] must be clicked on to cause the scrap of paper to appear, which then is clicked upon. The translation of the new line (Thorin III. will translate it for you, if you speak to him now) is "Binakhrâm". The third and final Scrap of Paper is on the third level of the library of Zudrugund at Nár's Peak. The translation of the text is "Thorinzsâl". Bestowal dialogue '<name>, I will trust you with this task because you have been a friend to my people before. I want you to find the Secret Stone and return it to me. 'The warnings were clear. This is a dangerous and powerful artefact. But, I believe the risk to be worth the danger. The craftsmanship of my people is fading, and we are desperate to find a solution. An ancient artefact of Khazad-dûm may BE that solution! At the same time, it worries me that this secret knowledge was just left out for anyone to find. Someone may have sinister intentions for it. 'This may be an impossible task. For all we know, the Stone may be lost forever. But, should you manage to find it, please bring it to me. Perhaps the place to start is these missing pages.
