Depths of Mâkhda Khorbo
"After the confrontation in the Citadel of Winds, the ship bearing Azagath, Belondor, and Nakási, Reaper of the Waves sails north-west into the shadow cast by the Mâkhda Khorbo. Pursuing the trio, you enter the depths of a long-hidden cavern leading through dank, twisting passages ending at an iron-wrought gate. The smells of the sea, iron, and ash assail you as you press deeper beneath the land and closer to the remnants of the temple ruins."
Background
After a battle at the Tower of Winds that crippled their ship, Azagath, Belondor, and Nakási, Reaper of the Waves flee to the cavernous underground beneath Mâkhda Khorbo. The subterranean harbour served as an illicit smuggler's den for the Temple of the All-seeing Eye, and the evil wrought by its inhabitant remains in the stone.

- Defeat Azagath's Sea-shade and his crew
- Defeat Belondor and his crew
- Defeat Umshûra the Glutton within the Mâkhda Khorbo
After escaping the Citadel of winds, Azagath Sea-shadow, Belondor, and Nakási Wave-reaper entered the Mâkhda Khorbo. You pursued them into the temple of ash and blood and now scour the depths for the trio.
- Azagath Sea-shadow says, "We should not linger in this place longer than we must. We will unseal the underground river, restore the dock, and take a smaller ship to sea - wait, did you hear something?
- Azagath Sea-shadow says, "I would applaud your persistence were it not vexing. Alas, you have spoiled years of planning and careful construction in a matter of weeks."
- Azagath Sea-shadow says, "Instead, then, let me welcome you to your tomb."
- Azagath Sea-shadow says, "It is a pity I shall not see the life leave your eyes, but my calling lies deeper within the Mâkhda Khorbo."
- Azagath Sea-shadow says, "Do not despair. My crew will tell me how you begged before your deaths."
- Azagath Sea-shadow says, "Come Nakási and Belondor; we have much to do within. My crew and shade will see these interlopers become the latest sacrifice in this temple."
- Azagath's Sea-shadow says, "So it begins..."
- Azagath's Sea-shadow says, "Cower, <name>, your doom is at hand!
- 'The Sea-shadow writhes and shakes.'
- Azagath's voice fills the cavern, 'Nakási, take your crew; breach the bulwarks across the docks. We must flood the harbour.'
- Nakási replies, 'As you wish, Azagath.'
- Nakási addresses her crew, 'You heard the Sea-shadow. Make haste to the bulwarks and bring them down!'
- 'Nakási, be safe. There is more yet to do.
- 'Watch yourself, old man. I'll see you on the other side.'
- Azagath continues, 'Belondor, take your crew within the temple. Do not let these interlopers breach the stairwell.'
- 'I must retrieve my prize from within Mâkhda Khorbo before we take to the sea.'
- Azagath's voice deepens, 'As for our pursuers. I believe they will find that the temple of blood and ash is unwelcoming to outsiders.'
- Belondor says, "Persistent. Usually, I admire that quality. Given that you are my pursuer, I find it disagreeable. Nevertheless, you'll not stop us here; we will end you."
- Belondor says, "My crew and I will stop you here. You shall not ascend to face Lord Azagath. We will end your meddling here and now."
- Belondor says, "It is best you retreat now while you can still walk. I would not advise crawling through the ruins of the temple of Ash and Blood."
- Belondor says, "But if you insist on pursuing your own demise, we will oblige."
- Belondor says, "Crew! Form rank."
- Khalmôz says, "Yes, Belondor."
- Hâkraph says, "They go no further."
- Talkênza says, "You heard the captain!
- Lêshana says, "As you command."
- Mairan says, "They won't get by us, captain."
- Sallax says, "Prepare yourselves, mates."
- Belondor says, "I commend you for your tenacity. Come forth. We will afford you a moment of respite to compose yourselves."
- Belondor says, "Gather your crew, quickly. Once the gate is closed we will teach you about discipline."
- Belondor says, "Very well. Let us begin."
- Belondor says, "Be free and aid me!
- 'Azagath's voice fills the room. "Your crew fails you, Belondor. I do not abide Failure."'
- 'I will, however, offer my assistance.'
- 'They will serve me better in death than they served you in life.'
- Hâkraph says, "Ahh!
- Mairan says, "No!
- Talkênza says, "Nyah!
- Sallax says, "Ahh!
- Khalmôz says, "Nyah!
- Lêshana says, "Nyah!
- Belondor says, "No! What have you done?
- Belondor says, "Azagath! This is not over!
- Belondor says, "Beware my fangs in the dark!
- Belondor says, "No! I will not be felled!
- Belondor says, "No, no, no!
- Belondor says, "No more! I am spent. My crew... my friends are dead. I yield."
- Belondor says, "I will return to the city and face my penance. Azagath will pay by my hand."
- Belondor says, "Take what treasure you will from the temple, but leave me and my crew to misery."
- Umshûra's tentacles begin crushing a ship!
- 'Umshûra shakes with anger.'
- The boat damaged and weakened Umshûra!
- 'Umshûra's eyes search for a foe.'
- Umshûra sinks into the dark water, defeated.
