This quest counts for the Aiding the Sutcrofts deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. Speak to Waldeg after accepting the quest to start the public instance. Enter the instance and the spiders required are both in the cavern spaces and tunnels. Defeat 10 mobs to complete the quest. To leave the instance either return to the instance portal or use the 'Leave Instance' function (right click the character portrait).

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'There were always nests and webs within the Creeping Wood, but they were kept to the corners and the side-caves. Recently, I think emboldened by the dark presence of the Enemy, the spiders have begun to fill all the tunnels and caves. 'We cannot risk the spiders growing and leaving the Creeping Wood. Their numbers must be culled.' Background The spiders of the Creeping Wood have grown bold since the Enemy arrived in Rohan. Objective 1 Defeat spiders in the Creeping Wood (0/10) Spiders can be found in the Creeping Wood. Waldeg asked you to defeat several spiders within the Creeping Wood. Waldeg: 'Be wary that you do not get caught up within the webs of the Creeping Wood yourself.' Enter the Public Instance: The Creeping Wood Objective 2 Talk to Waldeg Waldeg is at Snowbourn. Waldeg will be pleased to know that few spiders now skitter through the tunnels of the Creeping Wood. Waldeg: 'I have never like spiders, not even the little ones.'
