Bestowal Dialogue

'Although my debt is that of coin, I devised a plan to pay it in the form of a valuable substance. However, thanks to an old injury, I find myself unable to collect it. You have helped me already once today, but I wonder if you would be willing to aid the friend of a friend again?

'Here in An Shêru there are hot springs that are home to large rock-worms. These worms have glands that contain a toxin that is valuable for its use in alchemy. If you were able to collect eight of these glands, I could sell them to the right buyer for enough to cover my debt. Would you aid an old, battered dwarf?

'The nearest hot spring where you can find rock-worms is the Pools of Taridím, just to the west of here. There is another hot spring in the north, the Seething-wells, where they can also be found. If you want to help, you should go there to hunt for the beasts.'

Background

Sâdikiz has asked for your help to carry out his plan for a way to pay his debts.

Objective 1

  • Collect rock-worm glands (0/8)
7 Rock-worn Glands

Sâdikiz says he can repay his debts by selling the glands of rock-worms found at the Pools of Taridím, west of Khanâg Gur, and the Seething-wells in northern An Shêru.

Rock-worm glands collected (8/8)'

Objective 2

8 Rock-worn Glands

You have collected the rock-worm glands that Sâdikiz requested. You should bring them to him at Khanâg Gur.

Sâdikiz the Sky-hungry: 'Well, pull my beard, you got them! Thank you, <name>, you are truly a life-saver.
'While you were gone, I found myself thinking about the safety of Jiret-menêsh. Since the arrival of these new Orcs, the Ordâkhai seem more determined than ever to make everyone miserable. Tell me, do you know what defences they have in place? What is their plan, should an attack come?'
You tell him that you are not privy to that information.
'Ah, that is too bad then. Thank you all the same.'
