Walkthrough & Notes

Mustarka can be found at one of the following locations on a daily rotation: Coordinates Directions / Description [16.7N, 86.3W] Located due north of Jotunstath in Talvi-mûri. [18.8N, 85.5W] Located west of Kuru-leiri, on the snow slopes near the western mountain range. [10.7N, 79.2W] Located northeast of Zigilgund, roaming at the foot of the ridge to the north. [14.2N, 74.5W] Located in the north-central area of the Lonesome Stones near the ice bay. [12.4N, 66.8W] Located east-northeast of Pynti-peldot and southwest of Karhu-leiri, overlooking the southeastern corner of the ice bay. Mustarka uses various melee attacks to incapacitate you. Along with the skills Grasp of the Dead and Spirit of Death. Mustarka also has the Monster Speed Modifier, which means he can run +25% faster than normal. They also have the Protection from Fear effect, and the Dread Aura effect which causes the Dread effect to be applied. See Roving Threats for more information and similar quests.

Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue 'Something sinister stirs in my land. We Lossoth feel a foul wind blowing from the East. 'The winds brought with them a creature we call Mustarka. This terrifying Wight from Angmar disrupts the balance in my icy land. It searches for something, perhaps a treasure, and kills anything in its path. 'Will you help us to protect this cold North?' Background Evil stirs in the Northern realm, including Mustarka, who walks the frozen wastes with a murderous gaze, seeking lost treasures. Objective 1 Defeat Mustarka Mustarka can be found somewhere in Forochel. You should defeat Mustarka. Objective 2 Speak with Ostasänt Ostasänt can be found in Sûri-kylä. You should speak with Ostasänt. Ostasänt: 'You say the Wight wore armour from Angmar? This is unsettling. The Lossoth are not prepared to fight what lies to the East. Even our best warriors are no match for the strange creatures from over the mountains that I have heard about. Perhaps having you around will keep the dark winds from blowing too far West.'
