Bestowal Dialogue
'For our plan to work, Kotráka Saiya must show us the secret way inside the city. She will only do this if we secure her children.
'You will enter the palace with the princess and her guards, find her family, and get them out. Since the Ordâkhai do not yet know we have taken the bridge, you should be able to cross as part of her entourage and enter the city. I am sorry to place you in such peril, <name>, but she requested that you be the one to join her.
'Do not attempt to cross without her accompaniment! The Ordâkhai archers will surely shoot you from the far side of the bridge.'
Background
You must rescue Kotráka Saiya's children from inside Emax Dûl before she will show Mizâdi the secret way into the city.
Objective 1
To safely enter Emax Dûl, you must be escorted across the bridge by Kotráka Saiya.
You should talk to Kotráka Saiya at the bridge-fort when you are ready to go.
- Kotráka Saiya: 'Come with me. You will enter the palace as my personal guest. I know not how much resistance we will face inside.'
- You have safely arrived inside the Emax Dûl palace
Objective 2
You have arrived inside the palace.
You should talk to Kotráka Saiya.
- Mizâdi: 'Some of the palace guards are still loyal to me, but not all. We must tread carefully until my children are safe!
- 'My three daughters should be in their bed-chamber, or nearby, but I am most worried for my son, Otibúk. He is still bed-ridden, and we will need the guards' help to carry him to safety.'
Objective 3
You need to secure the safety of Kotráka Saiya's family by getting them out of the palace.
You should find Kotráka Saiya's three daughters and son, Otibúk and speak to loyal guards nearby.
- Loyal Guard: 'My Saiya! We have done as you asked and kept only those loyal to you stationed near your children. Some of the other guards have attempted to enter, but we have so far kept them away. Khêjiba ran off when we tried to keep her here, however. Please forgive me, your highness.'
- Kotráka Saiya tells the guard to safely escort her daughters to the entrance.
- 'As you wish! We will do so when it is safe.'
- Kotráka Saiya says, "Listen to the guard, daughters. Do not speak to anyone else. I will handle your sister."
- Loyal Guard: 'My Saiya! We have kept your son secure. However, something is amiss among the guards. I believe those loyal to your sister are attempting to gain control of the royal quarters!'
- Kotráka Saiya tells the guard to move her son to a safe location when they can.
- 'As you wish, your highness. We will move him when we can safely do so unseen.'
- Kotráka Saiya says, "Move him only when it is safe to do so. And please, be careful with him!"
- Khêjiba: 'Mother? What is happening? The guards are being strange and saying I can't leave.'
- Kotráka Saiya tells her daughter that she should listen to the guard, and he will help her leave the palace.
- 'Leave? No! Why do we have to leave?'
- Khêjiba runs deeper into the royal quarters!
- Khêjiba says, "No! I don't want to go!"
Objective 4
You need to secure the safety of Kotráka Saiya's family by getting them out of the palace.
You should find Khêjiba somewhere in the palace royal quarters.
Objective 5
Kotráka Saiya's sister, Barkhuráni, will not allow her to leave with the children.
You should defeat Dark Priestess Barkhuráni.
- Dark Priestess Barkhuráni: 'Are you here to take the children, <class>? What lies have you spread to convince my sister to abandon her empire, husband, and sister?'
- Dark Priestess Barkhuráni says, "I know what you are up to, Kotráka. Why? Why would you abandon us?"
- Kotráka Saiya says, "My husband has lost his mind and a malignant force clearly seeks to take control of our empire as we decline."
- Kotráka Saiya says, "Can you not see the danger we are in? I act only to save my children from this!"
- Kotráka Saiya says, "Come with us, sister, before it is too late for you, too."
- Dark Priestess Barkhuráni says, "Hmph, malignant force, you say? Unlike your fool husband, I work with her willingly!"
- Dark Priestess Barkhuráni says, "You will not get away with this betrayal, sister! You and your children will never be safe!"
- Defeated Dark Priestess Barkhuráni
- Kotráka Saiya says, "Sister..."
- Kotráka Saiya says, "Khêjiba, go to your sisters. We are leaving."
Objective 6
You have secured the safety of the royal family.
You should talk to Kotráka Saiya.
- Kotráka Saiya: 'We have done what we can. I trust my people to get my children to safety. Let us return to the entrance. I now must keep my end of the deal.'
Objective 7
- Return to the entrance of the royal quarters
You have secured the safety of the royal family.
You should return to the entrance of the royal quarters and speak to the servant standing by.
- Palace Servant: 'My Saiya, everything has been arranged.'
- Kotráka Saiya tells the servant to go to Mizâdi and share the location of the secret entrance to the city.
- 'At once, your highness. I will go with haste!'
Objective 8
Kotráka Saiya will now hold up her end of the deal and show you the secret way into the city.
You should speak to Kotráka Saiya and meet up with your allies.
- Kotráka Saiya: 'My servant will go and show your allies the way to the secret caves. She can move more quickly through the city than we can. They will have arrived before us, most likely.
- 'Come, let us leave this place, before my sister or her guards find us.'
- Kotráka Saiya: 'As I thought, your people have arrived before us. Now that we are out of danger, I am beginning to feel the weight of my decision. My children are safe, but I have lost my husband and my sister both....
- 'I will work with Shâra Mizâdi to disappear somewhere with my family for a time. I cannot bring myself to wish you luck in a war against my own husband, but I do hope we meet again, <name>. I owe you a debt of gratitude.'
Objective 9
Mizâdi has set up camp at the secret entrance to the city.
You should talk to Mizâdi at Nashûbu.
- Mizâdi: 'The royal family is secure. I swear this oath: with us they will be safe! Kotráka Saiya will be allowed to choose her own fate following this bloody war.
- 'Now, we have everything we need to prevail.'
