Bestowal Dialogue

'I believe your Shâra when she says she wants to protect us from the Ordâkhai, but I sense you want something from us in return. We are not ones to trust outsiders so easily, not after our many years of resistance to Ordâkh. If you want an alliance, you will need to prove yourselves to us.

'It is simple. Help the Beltáni, and we will help you.'

Background

The Beltáni chieftain, Unusâli, does not trust outsiders easily. She asks you to help the people of Ahâba with their work to prove yourself to her.

Objective 1

Unusâli has decided she will not trust you until you prove yourself to the Beltáni.

You should complete three quests in Ahâba to prove yourself.

Unusâli: 'It seems you are being put to work! Apologies, friend!
'While you are helping the locals, we will negotiate with Unusâli. Ahâba would be a perfect staging area for our soldiers to gather, but I will not force anything upon the Beltáni if they are unwilling to join our fight.'
Sorkamâl the Forbearing: 'Unusâli seems to be a hard woman, but I suspect she only wishes to protect her village. The Ordâkhai have caused these people much grief over the years, and I do not blame her for being slow to trust.
'This will be my first real chance to prove myself to Mizâdi as her diplomat. I believe I can make headway on this negotiation by appealing to our shared enemy, and their similar pasts....'

Objective 2

Unusâli has heard of your work for the Beltáni and is pleased.

You should talk to Unusâli in Ahâba.

Unusâli: 'My people are pleased with your work. You may stay.
'While you were gone, Mizâdi and I spoke of how she became Shâra of Renewed Hamât. We share a bond: the cruelty of Ordâkh took both our husbands. We have agreed to help each other claim vengeance.
'When the forces of Hamât gather before they march to make war on Emax Dûl, they may make camp in Ahâba. We will then add who we can to your host. May the Beltáni finally be free.'
