Walkthrough & Notes

Wander the area using Tab to select various targets. However the spy will not be targetable until after you get the message "You have spotted a creature attempting to move stealthily about." Check in bushes and away from aggressive creatures (spies are about stealth not fighting). Using Passage of Foes (hunter) or a Tracking skill tome from the LOTRO Store are also options. If you can't track, they wander around just west of where the road splits as you head toward DA from Lamedon [72.6S, 64.9W] - [72.5S, 64.6W]. Camp there and they don't take long to respawn.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'As it stands, we are ill-prepared to wage any sort of counter-attack against the Corsairs. Our Prince and many men have travelled to the east, leaving us little to work with. 'However, I have heard talk of Corsair spies acting as messengers to their forces near Tadrent and even as far east as Lamedon. If you were to catch one of them by surprise, it is likely that the information they bear could be used to our advantage. 'They are not known to travel by road, so you may have to seek them out. Bring any orders you find to me, and we shall see if hope yet remains!' Background Hoping to expose a weakness in the Corsair assault, Gilanor seeks to uncover what orders Corsair spies are carrying to their brethren. Objective 1 Collect orders from Corsair spies (0/3) Corsair spies can be found lurking north of Ost Lontir, especially off of the roads and near the Ringló. Gilanor has asked you to seek out Corsair spies and recover any order they may be carrying. Objective 2 Deliver the orders to Gilanor Gilanor can be found in Ost Lontir in central Belfalas. You have recovered a collection of orders detailing the leadership and intent of the Corsairs in Edhellond. You should report back to Gilanor. Gilanor: 'Ah-ha! These are just what we needed, <name>... 'Look at these - they detail numbers, movements, a Corsair captain named Dolguzîr, and their leadership... all of them mentioning one known as The Scourge. 'We have all we need now, <name>.. let us begin our assualt!'
