Walkthrough & Notes

There are some Wandering Gloomwaters in the instance, but they are relatively weak; the main enemy is the quest timer. The timer is 8 minutes, which would be ample time, but for the fact that the valuable and priceless boxes will place a movement-speed debuff on your character; either -5% or -10% (semi-randomly?). While it is true that some lootboxes will give a Confidence run-speed buff of +50%, this is very short-lived (approximately 5 seconds), whereas the debuffs do not seem to expire until the instance is exited. Eventually one will accumulate 6 debuffs, so this can make it difficult to collect the treasures and get back to the entrance in time. If struggling with the timer, one possibility is to locate the valuable/priceless boxes while moving down the map, but don't pick them up until ready to return to the entrance. Some other generic measures that can be used to speed up the process are Do the mission with a friend as a duo, so you can split the work between you. Use Run Speed Items, e.g. Superior Westemnet Coffee (+10%) and/or race-/or class-based movement-speed buffs (e.g. Sprint, Grace of the Firstborn, Find the Path). Use the "select nearest object" command (default keybinding: <delete>) for treasures. Alternatively, use the "select next object" or "select previous object", neither of which are bound to keys, by default Additionally, the "directional selection indicator" setting (under Combat Options) will help point the direction of a selection, which can otherwise be difficult to discern, since the map is very maze-like. Having a consistent "system" of scanning all of the various wings and alcoves of the area will help to avoid wasting time scanning areas that have already been scanned.
