Walkthrough & Notes
Upon approaching the location of the war-party, the quest advances to Objective 2 and begins a timer for 4 minutes. Waves of Khundolar will spawn, run west a bit, and gather at a certain spot. Despite appearances, there does not seem to be any trigger from defeating enemies here. Rather, the objective completes once 4 minutes have elapsed.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'It seems we may have a slight problem. Your previous efforts in Lang Rhuven did not go unnoticed. Now a war-party has been spotted on the road west of Lang Rhuven; they must have been dispatched to reinforce the encampment. You and your allies must make haste to the edge of the western road in Lang Rhuven and prevent the war-party from joining up with the rest of the Easterling forces.' Background A war-party approaches Lang Rhuven from the east to reinforce the Easterlings there. Objective 1 Defeat the war-party entering Lang Rhuven A war-party will be entering Lang Rhuven from the eastern end of the encampment. You should defeat the war-party before they get to the camp. Do not let the war-party into Lang Rhuven Objective 2 Stand your ground and defeat the war-party Do not leave the eastern end of Lang Rhuven unguarded A war-party will be entering Lang Rhuven from the eastern end of the encampment. You should defeat the war-party before they get to the camp. The war-party has been defeated! Objective 3 Return to Candúr You should return to Candúr, who can be found at a small Ranger outpost hidden in the Slag-Hills. Candúr: 'Another victory! Well done! We have compromised and thwarted the Easterlings at Lang Rhuven at every turn. I, for one, no longer fear the last or the poison of their sting.'
