Walkthrough & Notes

This is a solo quest and cannot be completed with a Fellowship. To complete this instance you must: Defeat the Morroval-mistress Collect 4 Forge-tools (dropped off any Morroval-robbers that you kill) Prevent 3 Fleeing Scavengers from escaping (it may happen any time, so be prepared) Use the ancient-anvil When you enter the room, there will be Morroval-outcasts patrolling either side of the room, which have archways. Sometimes a single morroval will run back and forth between them, so care must be taken. You should kill off any Morroval-outcasts in the first room. After doing this take the left and go there. There should be the first Morroval-robber waiting to be killed. She will have 2-3 mobs with her, so it is best to root them/stun (if not try to aggro 2-3) and then run out of the second room and back into the first. This should keep you prepared to deal with any fleeing scavengers that might spawn. do this process over and over until you have collected four forge-tools, and then run back into the first room. On the platform with the forge the Morroval-mistress will have spawned. Kill her and you're done. CAUTION! Fleeing scavengers will still spawn at this point, so be sure to stun or root any that come your way to avoid being overwhelmed by them.

"In the deep places of Moria, an ancient and hidden dwarf-forge has been penetrated by an outcast band of merrevail, seeking the tools which lie there in disuse. To what ends such creatures might put them remains unknown...." Background You have travelled to an ancient forge where some of the finest weapons in Moria were once crafted, but a band of merrevail driven out of their own caverns have begun raiding it and making off with the tools and materials inside. You must defeat the merrevail and recover the stolen tools before they strip the forge bare if you wish to be able to empower the gem you carry. Objective 1 Collect stolen tools (0/4) Defeat the morroval-mistress Prevent Fleeing Scavengers from escaping (0/3) You must defeat the morroval-robbers and recover the tools they have taken from the forge. You must also prevent the fleeing scavengers from escaping the forge, lest they make off with too many important pieces of equipment. Morroval-mistress says, "How dare you interfere with my brood? You shall die for your presumption." Morroval-mistress says, "I shall not be overcome by one such as you!" Morroval-mistress says, "No! I shall prevail!" Morroval-mistress says, "No!
