The Journey to Helm's Deep

Background
Agelwyn needs your aid in escorting her people to Helm's Deep across the dangerous plains of the Westfold.
Objective 1
Agelwyn can be found in the refugees' hiding spot north of Marton.
You should help Agelwyn lead her people to Helm's Deep.
- Agelwyn: 'Everyone has gathered. I must address the people of Marton now....'
Objective 2
Agelwyn can be found in the refugees' hiding spot north of Marton.
You should help Agelwyn lead her people to Helm's Deep.
- Agelwyn says, "Everyone, I have asked you to gather to tell you that it is time for us to leave."
- Agelwyn says, "I have come to realize that Marton is lost to us."
- Agelwyn says, "The Fords have fallen, and Rohan is at war. The Westfold belongs to the enemy."
- Agelwyn says, "Our friend here has gone to great lengths to find us a safe path to Helm's Deep."
- Refugee says, "Helm's Deep! You would have us abandon our homes, woman?"
- Agelwyn says, "I know it is difficult, but we must flee! It is our best hope. It is what Gladsúnu wanted."
- Refugee says, "Clearly you are unfit to lead a mouse to cheese, Lady Agelwyn, if this is your solution."
- Agelwyn says, "It pains me, but...but I must insist. Please ready yourselves to ride at once!"
- Refugee says, "I would rather die than follow you!"
- Agelwyn says, "No!
- Agelwyn says, "Please! There is no need for violence."
- Agelwyn says, "You may all defy me if you wish -- I will not oppose you. But I beg you to reconsider...."
- Agelwyn says, "For your own safety!"
- Refugee says, "Not resisting us is the first wisdom I have heard from you."
- Agelwyn's speech did not go as well as she hoped, but several people are still willing to follow her

- Agelwyn: 'That did not go well at all, but it is done. I will not look back now. Let us get this journey over with.
- 'We ride at once!'
- Agelwyn is undeterred by the rebellion of half of her followers
Objective 4
Agelwyn and her party are by the riverbank in the southern Westfold.
You should speak with Agelwyn.
- Agelwyn: 'We have been blessed with a safe journey thus far! I hope it stays that way. Helm's Deep draws near.
- 'Take heart, people of Marton! We are almost there.'
- Agelwyn is heartened by the good fortune encountered on the journey
Objective 5
- Keep the people of Marton safe
Agelwyn and her party are travelling along the riverbank towards Helm's Deep.
You should keep the people of Marton safe as they travel.
- Agelwyn says, "Thank you, friend. Let us continue! I see that the fields are not yet safe...."
Objective 6
Follow Agelwyn and keep her people safe.
- Refugee: You recognize this person -- you saw these refugees on the road when you first entered Kingstead.
- These poor folk never made it to Helm's Deep, for the plains were crawling with deadly servants of the enemy.
- The first people you met in the Westfold have been murdered by the White Hand... innocent people.

- Mourn the slaughtered innocents

You should speak with Agelwyn.
- Agelwyn: 'Did you know these poor people, <name>? I am so sorry.
- '...They were like us, were they not? Unarmed people, fleeing to the Hornburg for safety. If you had not been with us, this would have been us.
- 'Helm's Deep is so near! Let us continue, <name>.'
- Agelwyn: 'We are almost there, and then we part ways. I cannot thank you enough for getting us through this.'
