Walkthrough & Notes

The palisade entrance may be blocked off by an invisible wall after speaking to Azruthor, so make sure everyone in your group is in the instance and ready. Azruthor has 1.9M morale and 64,562 power. Adds will spawn and join the fight periodically - two Umbarrim Warriors followed by three Ruthless, then another three Ruthless. These adds count for the auto-bestowed quests A Curse Unending, Purer Blood, and Where Fear Has Gone. At ~300K Morale, Azruthor will become unattackable for a short time and have a conversation with Nerzus and some Oathbreakers. After the conversation, he will once again become attackable. After defeating Azruthor, use the nearby Horse [67.3S, 69.0W] to travel back to Dol Amroth, where Elaglar awaits you.

Bestowal Dialogue "After rallying the Ruthless Dead in Blackroot Vale, Azruthor returned to Tarlang's Crown. There, he now leads a great army that awaits his command to raze the lands of Anfalas to the west." Background After weakening the forces in Tarlang's Crown, the time has come to confront Azruthor and put an end to the Scourge's plans for the Anfalas. Objective 1 Seek Azruthor in the camp at Tarlang's Crown Azruthor can be found in the main tent of the camp at Tarlang's Crown. Harnion has asked you to confront and defeat Azruthor in Tarlang's Crown. Objective 2 Confront Azruthor Azruthor can be found just outside the main tent of the camp at Tarlang's Crown. You have discovered Azruthor's whereabouts and should now confront him. Azruthor: Azruthor merely glares at you - his eyes betraying a seething rage. All is silent for a moment, but then he begins to speak. Objective 3 Listen to Azruthor Azruthor can be found just outside the main tent of the camp at Tarlang's Crown. You should defeat Azruthor and his allies for the good of Gondor. Azruthor says, "I have been failed by the Dead, and then failed by my men - all because of you, <name>." Azruthor says, "You have meddled in the affairs of the true King of Gondor for too long, and I will not fail the Scourge now!" Azruthor says, "The only escape you shall find now is death!" Objective 4 Defeat Azruthor Azruthor can be found just outside the main tent of the camp at Tarlang's Crown. You should defeat Azruthor and his allies for the good of Gondor. Azruthor says, "If your plan was to leave me defenceless, you have failed!" Azruthor says, "Fools! Not only the living serve under my command!" Azruthor says, "Let dread consume you!" Nerzus says, "All this time you have thought us fools, Azruthor." Nerzus says, "We have seen much of this world, and shall evermore - cursed as we are." Nerzus says, "When we sought to spite the heir of Isildur, we swore allegiance to Sauron the Great, not a miserable Man such as you."
