Follow the path to the cave behind the waterfall. Fight your way through the cave to Bruidalg the Bloodletter. After defeating him, examine the strange rock wall beside him. Continue fighting your way through the cave until you reach the bottom chamber. Clear out the Drakes before examining the Strange Crystal in the middle. Defeat Praushod.

Quest Text

Corruption's Source "Down twisting tunnels, through crystal-lined caverns, lies the source of the corrupted sarrowstones. As ancient evil cracks apart and decays a new threat bubbles forth, whispering poisoned words to its maddened worshippers." Background Deep in the ground, in crystal-laden, fetid pools, an ancient evil spreads corruption. Objective 1 Talk to Rúni Lore-master Rúni waits for you by the falls in western Clovengap. You should talk to Rúni. Rúni: 'See yonder waterfall? The madman's journal says that behind it lies the entrance to a cave. It is from here that the sarrowstones are harvested. This is the source of the corruption, friend! I would come to help you, but as you know, I am useless with weapons. I shall be right behind you, however! Good luck! 'Ah, I nearly forgot! Take the candle with you! The journal says that by its light, the way shall be revealed.' Objective 2 Find the crystal cave The waterfall is in eastern Clovengap. Rúni the Lore-master believes there is a hidden cave behind the nearby waterfall. You should find the cave. There is a cave behind the waterfall! Objective 3 Defeat Bruidalg the Bloodletter The source of the corruption is deep in the Min Návaid cave in Clovengap. You should uncover the source of the corrupted sarrowstones and put an end for good to the terrible experiments of Bruidalg the Bloodletter. Objective 4 Find the secret tunnel The secret tunnel is within the crystal cave, Min Návaid. The journal spoke of a secret tunnel whose entrance can be revealed by the light of the candle. With the Angmarim High Priest defeated, you should look for the secret tunnel. STRANGE ROCK: "A strange-looking rock." The tunnel is revealed! Objective 5 Defeat Praushod the Fetid Praushod the Fetid lies deeper within Min Návaid. You should summon Praushod the Fetid by striking the corrupted crystals. Defeated Praushod the Fetid Objective 6 Investigate the dragon bones The dragon bones are in Min Návaid. Lore-master Rúni has asked you to investigate the cave for dragon bones. Objective 7 Talk to Rúni Lore-master Rúni is in the crystal cave. You should tell Lore-master Rúni that the deed is done. Rúni: 'Well done, friend! And these bones! Amazing! Ancient and seemingly the source of the corruption. 'I shall stay on a while longer to study these bones. Go now, and tell Mother Amma that Praushod and Bruidalg have been defeated.'
