However, they will rejoin with full health a few seconds later. It appears that all three must be defeated at approximately the same time, in order to advance.

Background You have come to the camps of the Easterling refugees, across the river from Dale, to look into word of an incident. Objective 1 Investigate the camp You should investigate the refugee camp where the incident was said to have occurred. The place is desolate and quiet as the grave Objective 2 Look for clues (0/5) You should investigate the refugee camp where the incident was said to have occurred. SCUFF-MARKS "Signs of some altercation or struggle." There are signs of a struggle here This Easterling holds a weapon This Dale-man died amid a struggle SHATTERED CRATE "Broken by a great blow or something heavy falling on it, the contents are beyond recognition." Did this freshly shattered crate belong to the Easterlings? Or was it stolen? This Easterling was unarmed Objective 3 Return to the centre of the camp You should return to the centre of the refugee camp. Shouts issue from the eastern end of the camp Objective 4 Go east of the camp You should investigate the sounds coming from east of the camp. Easterlings appear, armed and furious Objective 5 Defend yourself You should defend yourself from the Easterling attackers. Angry Easterling Refugee shouts, "You thief, you desecrator! You'll pay!" Angry Easterling Refugee shouts, "Do you think us all unarmed and helpless?" Angry Easterling Refugee shouts, "You should not have come back here." Angry Easterling Refugee shouts, "Betrayer of trust!" Angry Easterling Refugee shouts, "You should not be allowed to live!" Angry Easterling Refugee shouts, "Grrrr."
