Bestowal Dialogue

A Personal Matter
"Kugâna, Nabatínu's wife, is thought to be held in captivity at Ona Bóha, an Ordâkhai work camp. Here, Jatsakóri are held in thrall, forced into hard labour."

Background

Nabatínu has asked you for the personal favour of checking on the welfare of his wife, Kugâna, a Jatsakóri still under the thrall of the Bokhóri sorceresses.

Objective 1

You have travelled with Faeron to Gebarakór, the Ordâkhai open-pit mine. You should talk to Faeron.

Faeron: 'Quietly now, <name>. Their own torches should blind their eyes to our presence, but they could still hear us.
'Look there, someone approaches. Let's move closer to listen.'
Faeron says, "Let's get closer and listen."

Objective 2

  • Move closer to the Ordâkhai

Another group is arriving at Gebarakór. You should move closer to hear what they are saying.

This is close enough

Objective 3

  • Observe the conversation

Another group has arrived at Gebarakór. You should listen in on what they are saying.

Ordâkhai Warrior says, "My lord..."
Ordâkhai Warrior says, "Lady Ombátha approaches."
Ordâkhai Dôlo says, "Very well."
Ordâkhai Dôlo says, "Everyone! Form ranks!"
Ordâkhai Dôlo says, "My Lady Ombátha."
Ordâkhai Dôlo says, "How may I serve you?"
Ombátha says, "You disappoint me, Dôlo."
Ordâkhai Dôlo says, "But my lady, we have sent you more waggons than last month."
Ordâkhai Dôlo says, "And with fewer Jatsakóri."
Ordâkhai Dôlo says, "If you brought me more..."
Ombátha says, "Even Jatsakóri cost us food."
Ombátha says, "Though we have plenty, I would like to keep it that way."
Ombátha says, "If you increase the waggons by one tenth..."
Ombátha says, "I will allow a small addition of rations."
Ordâkhai Dôlo says, "As you wish, Lady."
Ombátha says, "While they are gathered here, we will renew our will upon their minds."
Ombátha says, "Be grateful for what you have, Dôlo."
Ombátha says, "Take joy in your service to Barkhûsh."

Objective 4

  • Look for Kugâna among the workers

You witnessed the arrival of Ombátha, the leader of the Bokhóri, sorcerers with the ability to ensnare Men's will. You should look for Kugâna, Nabatínu's wife, among the assembled workers.

Faeron: 'Look around, do you see anyone meeting Kugâna's description?'
You spot her, alive, but not well
Faeron: 'We have seen what we came to, and should make our way back to Gadim-ûn. Are you ready to leave?'
