Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'This is unacceptable, <name>, and we shall not put up with it! Filthy insects in such an important site of historical significance as Balin's camp...it hardly bears thinking about. 'Return to Balin's camp and drive the gredbyg from that place. To get back to the camp, head east, past Khurjezer, then turn north. Find The Deep Crossroad and continue west. 'It is an affrontery for such creatures to inhabit that place!' Background Káti feels that it is unacceptable for gredbyg to have invaded as important a site of dwarf-history as the camp Balin established when he first came to Khazad-dûm. Objective 1 Defeat gredbyg in Balin's Camp (0/12) The gredbyg can be found infesting Balin's camp, east past Khurjezer, then north and west at the Deep Crossroad. Káti is digusted that Balin's original camp is now infested with gredbyg and asked that you clean the camp out and defeat any insects near it. Káti: 'Well…yes, all right, I understand that you have discovered many new places in your travels but…this is Balin's camp! A piece of our history! I simply cannot allow it to be filled with insects and vile creatures.' Objective 2 Talk to Káti at the Twenty-first Hall Káti is at the Twenty-first Hall, west of Khurjezer. Káti will be pleased to hear that the gredbyg have been removed from Balin's original encampment. Káti: 'This is more like it! Even the most meagre of camps Balin made deserves to be honoured and treated with the outmost respect. He might not have wanted that, but his memory certainly deserves it.'
