Walkthrough & Notes

This quest counts for the Aiding the Sutcrofts deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. Talk to Waldeg to enter the area. Use the First Aid Kit to start treating a Rohirrim Soldier. You must be close to an injured Rohirrim to use the item. This activates a quest skill UI with treatment buttons. The button box will disappear after 30 seconds; use the kit again to reactivate it. Use the skill buttons to treat the soldier with a bandage, salve, or a splint. The treatments can be interrupted by enemy attacks. Injured Rohirrim will stand up and despawn when given proper treatment. If the treatment given was wrong, players can try a different treatment after a short cooldown. The Rohirrim's posture can suggest a particular cure (described in the skill button tooltips), but postures and treatments do not always match up. Try the treatment suggested by the posture first, and try the other two if that one doesn't work. (If the Rohirrim's shield covers his hands, just guess!) - Bandage: Bandages are primarily used in patching the arms of wounded soldiers. (posture: hand on upper arm) - Salve: Salves heal cuts and slices in flesh. (posture: hand on stomach) - Splint: Splints are used in setting broken bones, particularly in the legs. (posture: hand on leg) To leave the instance either return to and interact with, the Return to Snowbourn horse at the instance spawn-in location (centre of Walstow). Or use the 'Leave Instance' feature (right click the character portrait).

Bestowal dialogue 'Walstow has been under almost constant siege. The warriors there have fought their hearts out, but their numbers dwindle. Small wounds have begun catching up with the men. If they can be treated, the wounds will heal, and they can rejoin the battle. 'Take this kit and head to Walstow. Use it to treat the injured and heal their wounds.' Background Many Rohirrim have been injured defending Walstow from the Enemy. Objective 1 Treat injured Rohirrim soldiers during the defence of Walstow (0/4) or Approach an injured soldier Injured Rohirrim can be found in Walstow. Waldeg asked you to triage and treat the Rohirrim who have been injured defending Walstow. Waldeg: 'Walstow has suffered heavy losses...be prepared for a fight.' Enter the Public Instance: Defence of Walstow Use your kit to start treating the soldier Objective 2 Talk to Waldeg Waldeg is at Snowbourn. Waldeg will be pleased to hear that you were able to treat the wounds of several injured Rohirrim. Waldeg: 'Every warrior treated enough to rejoin the battle could be the warrior that tips the scales to our favour.'
