Bestowal Dialogue

'I know these for lies because my friends were there, <name>, and they have told me how it was. What the Ordâkhai have asked me to write is nothing near the truth. This has never been a problem for me before now! Think you my plays were always true? It is not so!'

Satagêra sighs heavily.

'I say I cannot understand, but that is also a falsehood. I know why I struggle so with this one. It is because my husband Têrkar died in service of their war, as did so many of my friends; those that returned were not the same. I wish you could have known Mashkânu before he fought in the north. He speaks not of it to any of us, but whatever he saw changed him. Only rarely now does he laugh, when before he was always merry.

'For me to write the Ordâkhai's words feels like a betrayal. Here! See for yourself!'

Background

Satagêra has some thoughts about the play she has been tasked with writing.

Objective 1

Satagêra gave you part of the script she has already written.

Satagêra: 'Read the portion I gave to you and see for yourself!'

Objective 2

Satagêra is in north-east Ahâba.

Satagêra: 'The only true word on that parchment is "despairing," <name>. Many were the lies that sent my friends marching north to Barkhûsh's war, and now I add another: that victory is near at hand, despite the grave defeats I know were suffered.
'Here, see another portion of my script.'

Objective 3

Satagêra gave you another part of the script she has written.

Satagêra: 'Read the portion I gave to you and see for yourself!'

Objective 4

Jêsamin is in north-east Ahâba.

Jêsamin: 'It cannot be that bad, can it?
'We have performed plays for the Ordâkhai before. Their coins spend just as well as any others... perhaps better!
'If we had not performed "Bite of the Black Serpent" in Emax Dûl we would not have met Ulishár, and he might still be imprisoned there, or slain!'

Objective 5

Imalêkh is in north-east Ahâba.

Jêsamin: 'We have performed plays for the Ordâkhai before. Their coins spend just as well as any others... perhaps better!'
Imalêkh: 'I fought on the field before the great city in the north. The nobles of Ordâkh who commissioned this play would not pay for a true account of what befell their soldiers there.
'But Jêsamin is right about this. Even an untrue play may accomplish some good. Had Satagêra not written "Bite of the Black Serpent," we would not have met Ulishár, and Têrkar would not have asked us to Spirit him to freedom.'

Objective 6

You have read portions of Satagêra's script and should return them to her.

Imalêkh: 'But Jêsamin is right about this. Even an untrue play may accomplish some good. Had Satagêra not written "Bite of the Black Serpent," we would not have met Ulishár, and Têrkar would not have asked us to spirit him to freedom.'
Satagêra: 'My companions are as supportive as ever, but by itself that puts no words on the page! I will keep at it.
'I fear "The Great Triumph of Mordor and Ordâkh" will not live up to my other works, <name>. Let us hope the nobles who commissioned it believe otherwise!'

Objective 7

Ulishár is in north-east Ahâba.

Satagêra: 'I fear "The Great Triumph of Mordor and Ordâkh" will not live up to my other works, <name>. Let us hope the nobles who commissioned it believe otherwise!'
Ulishár: 'It has been nice to catch up with Têrkar's Travellers, but we should no longer delay our work.'
