Bestowal Dialogue

'The Kinta elders of this grove have given me no means of freeing Silirtas from her fate. They believe this to be an unyielding truth: that a Kinta slain in battle is resigned to wander the land as one of the Väiri, a Spirit of wrath and hatred. I refuse to believe it.'

Sigileth grins without humour.

'They have not taken to me very well, <name>.'

Background

You have finally managed to track down Cúridwan. If fortune smiles, she will have the answers to Inkanûsh's questions.

Objective 1

Inkanûsh is in Sul Madásh.

Sigileth: 'What has brought you to Adagím, <name>?'
Inkanûsh: 'Cúridwan has returned at last to the grove. Will you come with me to speak with her? I have questions to ask. May she be forthright in answering!'

Objective 2

Inkanûsh is in Sul Madásh and ready to speak to Cúridwan.

Inkanûsh: 'Then let us speak with Cúridwan before she wanders again into the forest!'

Objective 3

The Utûgi have been driven away from Sul Madásh, but they leave sorrow in their wake.

Ulishár: Baharúd! Baharúd, I am sorry! I should have fought!
'My brother... I am sorry!'

Objective 4

The Utûgi have been driven away from Sul Madásh, but they leave sorrow in their wake.

Ulishár: Ulishár weeps for his brother, and you go unnoticed.
Sigileth: 'Curse the Thardúth for senseless slaughter! How many lives must their thralls destroy before it will be enough? Must this Kinta share the fate of Silirtas?
'It is not fair! How can such a thing be? How many Kintai must be doomed to become wandering, wrathful Väiri, unable to find rest?'

Objective 5

  • Her words hang on the air

The Utûgi have been driven away from Sul Madásh, but they leave sorrow in their wake.

Why?' asks Cúridwan

Objective 6

Cúridwan stands in Sul Madásh.

Cúridwan: 'It need not be the lot of this Kinta to remain unless he wishes it to be. Know you if that be his wish?'
