Walkthrough & Notes

You must approach and interact with each dwarven Inn League Member, causing you to perform a rude social. You have to do this 3 times for each dwarf. Óli is at Thorin's Hall Inn: [13.8S, 103.2W] Kópur is in Noglond: [19.3S, 100.5W] Grímar is in Gondamon [20.3S, 96.8W] Herluf is in Needlehole: [27.9S, 76.0W] From the first to the third location it is easy to take the stablemaster connections, but since the introduction of the Yondershire, Needlehole is now a very long ride from Gondamon - so it is recommendable to port to the Shire, and take a swift connection from there to Needlehole.

Bestowal dialogue 'Do you know how many dwarves have joined the Inn League? It is shameful! No self-respecting dwarf has any business joining that hobbit-guild, if you ask me. 'I demand that you harass those fools until they see some sense and join my illustrious Ale Association, and sever all ties with those stumpy, furry-headed hobbits of the Inn League. Do not stop until they are reasonable once again! 'Shameful. Shameful, shameful.' Background Jónar, a sinister and surly resident of Thorin's Hall, has grown increasingly sour towards the success of the Inn League. Objective 1 Convince Óli of Thorin's Hall to abandon the Inn League Óli can be found in Thorin's Hall, in the very inn where Jónar himself stands. Jónar has demanded that you approach dwarves from Thorin's hall that have joined the Inn League and harass them until they abandon this folly to take up arms with the Ale Association instead. Óli says, "How rude! That is no way to convince a fellow of anything." Objective 2 Óli is still unconvinced; you should try again Óli can be found in Thorin's Hall, in the very inn where Jónar himself stands. Objective 4 Convince Kópur of Noglond to abandon the Inn League Kópur, a member of the Inn League, can be found in Noglond in Ered Luin, south of Thorin's Hall in the Vale of Thrain. Kópur says, "I don't know...I rather like the Inn League." Kópur says, "I have never even heard of the Ale Association, after all! Grímar says, "But...but I like the Inn League!" Grímar says, "The hobbits have welcomed me with open arms and full mugs...." That seemed to do the trick Grímar says, "Fine, fine! I will do as you insist...but I do not like it." Objective 10 Convince Herluf of Needlehole to abandon the Inn League Herluf can be found in Needlehole, a hobbit town with many dwarf inhabitants in the north-west corner of the Shire. Jónar has demanded that you approach dwarves from Thorin's hall that have joined the Inn League and harass them until they abandon this folly to take up arms with the Ale Association instead. Herluf says, "Ouch! What did I do?" Objective 11 Herluf is still not convinced; you should try again Herluf can be found in Needlehole, a hobbit town with many dwarf inhabitants in the north-west corner of the Shire. Jónar has demanded that you approach dwarves from Thorin's hall that have joined the Inn League and harass them until they abandon this folly to take up arms with the Ale Association instead. Herluf says, "But...but the hobbits have been very good about supplying me with delicious beer!" Objective 12 Herluf is a stubborn fool! Try again Herluf can be found in Needlehole, a hobbit town with many dwarf inhabitants in the north-west corner of the Shire. Jónar has demanded that you approach dwarves from Thorin's hall that have joined the Inn League and harass them until they abandon this folly to take up arms with the Ale Association instead. That did the trick Herluf says, "I will join, I will join! But you must stop slapping me...." Objective 13 Talk to Jónar in Thorin's Hall Jónar awaits you in Thorin's hall. You should return to Jónar with the encouraging news that you were able to bully the Inn League dwarves into abandoning their foolish pursuits. Jónar: 'You have done well this time, my young apprentice. The outlook for the Inn League is most dour, thanks to your deeds. That is four dwarves who have now turned their back on those terrible little hobbits and forsaken their folly once and for all!'
