Unrefined Isendeep Ore can be found in crates scattered throughout the Isendeep Mine and they are dropped by Isendeep Miners. Once the quest is completed total of 10 times amongst all creeps, it is no longer available until Tol Ascarnen is conquered again.

Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue 'Well, the War-tyrant isn't satisfied with just oil. He wants iron, he says, for the oil. 'My head swims a moment, and I realize what he's saying. We need ore, iron ore to build a great iron belly to house the oil. Then we'll heat the oil and douse those wretches. Cooked meat for all! 'We know that the Isendeep Mine houses a great deal of ore. Go there, or if you think it too far a trek, find the dwarves. Those bearded slugs carry the ore sometimes.' Background The Free Peoples will return to take Tol Ascarnen, and Angmar's defenders wish to strengthen the walls with deterents that will drive the foe away. Objective 1 Collect Bundles of Unrefined Isendeep Ore (0/5) Iron ore can be found on the dwarves who fight for the Free Peoples or from the Isendeep Mine to the north. Angmar's army is shoring up the defences at Tol Ascarnen. Glat intends to build a massive iron pot to heat oil with which to douse the Free Peoples who attempt to assail the keep. Objective 2 Deliver the ore to Soldier Glat at Tol Ascarnen Iron ore can be found on the dwarves who fight for the Free Peoples or from the Isendeep Mine to the north. Angmar's army is shoring up the defences at Tol Ascarnen. Glat intends to build a massive iron pot to heat oil with which to douse the Free Peoples who attempt to assail the keep. Soldier Glat: 'This will do nicely, get others to the task so we can build the iron belly and cook us some meals.'
