King Ostoher (Quenya for City-lord) was the 7th King of Gondor, ruling from 411 to 492 of the Third Age. He is known for the rebuilding and expansion of Minas Anor (later Minas Tirith.
Ostoher ruled Gondor for eighty-one years, and was succeeded by his son, Tarostar, who reigned as Rómendacil I. He was honored with a statue and plaque in the Citadel Tier of Minas Tirith.
