• Náin I, son of Durin VI, and last lord of Khazad-dûm before the Longbeards abandoned it
• Náin II, son of King Óin, and King of the Grey Realm of Grárik, in the Ered Mithrin
• Náin Orcsfoe, father of Dáin Ironfoot, who fought at the Battle of Azanulbizar
• Náin the Slakeless, son of Dáin Ironfoot, and current lord of the Iron Hills
