Monster Player Reward Track

Overview

The Monster Player Reward Track is a seasonal progression system introduced in Update 41. It is available exclusively to Monster Players who purchase Monster Player Rewards from the LOTRO Store.

Cost: 895 .
VIP players receive a 50% discount, reducing the cost to 447 .

Once unlocked, the reward track is account-wide, allowing all monster characters to contribute toward its progression.

As of Update 47.1, the Monster Player Reward Track contains 100 levels. Progress beyond level 100 awards 100 Marta per level.

How to Progress

You can progress it by completing a variety of daily and weekly quests across the Ettenmoors. While some quests may still award Favour of Mordirith, track advancement now comes from Monster Player Reward Track Experience.

Standard quests: Award 2,500 Monster Player Reward Track Experience.
Immediately repeatable quests: Award 500 Monster Player Reward Track Experience.
Kill 50 players task: Awards 7,500 Monster Player Reward Track Experience.
Weekly monster player quest: Awards 50,000 Monster Player Reward Track Experience.
Corruptor dailies from Cinaid in Gramsfoot: Count as standard quests for track progress; they are one option among several daily sources, not the only path.

Rewards

Completing the Monster Player Reward Track grants Martar, a versatile currency that is account-bound and usable by both Monster Players and Free People.

March visual effects at various tiers.
Weapon cosmetics and march‑effect cosmetics.
Siege schematics.
Appearance Selection Boxes.
Seasonal titles and portrait frame

Free People

Consumables usable in the Ettenmoors.
Cosmetic items, titles, and portrait frames.

Martar is account-bound and can be traded with:

Rulum in Gramsfoot.
Alwuld, Coldfells Provisioner, and the Light, Medium, and Heavy Armour Quartermasters in Glân Vraig.

Barter Availability

Appearance rewards offered during the current season can also be purchased from the Marta barter vendors in Gramsfoot at a lower Marta cost. Cosmetic items from earlier seasons remain available on the same vendors, though they require a higher Marta cost. Additional older cosmetics will be added to these vendors over time, allowing players to obtain appearances from past reward tracks.

Historical Note

Update 47.1: The Monster Player Reward Track was expanded to 100 levels, Marta rewards were added for progress beyond level 100, and the track cost was increased.
