Matumáth (Black Speech for Death-dog) can be found within the Gortheron Wing of Ost Dunhoth in Enedwaith. He is one of the four champions of Ivar.

Tactics

When he says "The darkness fills me!", he activates Ivar's Corruption which will knockback anyone who hits him. He also absorbs all damage done. This is not harmful, but prevents you from taking him down as long as it is up. Note that you are not allowed to remove any corruptions if you are going for Tier 2 challenge mode. If this is the case, you will just have to wait until the corruption expires.

When he says "Your armour isn't much use, <name>, if it's in tatters!", he puts an armour rend on the target.

When he says "Your wounds will never heal, <name>.", he puts a decreased incoming healing debuff on the target.

When he says "Bleed, <name>, bleed.", he puts a fear on the target that deals damage over time. This can be removed.

Matumáth is susceptible to light damage.
