- This is one of those strange items -- I believe there are multiple items with the same name that are acquired by different means -- hobbit presents, Store Purchase, drops, gift boxes, etc.
- Assuming this description is correct, this one modifies your "blue bar" which only exists now for VIPs.
- The other versions state on their in-game tool-tip what their duration is.
- And, I think, if it is wall-clock timed. Most such buffs, such as 2x slayer bonus is NOT wall-clock timed. i.e. does not expire while you are logged out.
- Right, I think i remember seeing something like this that specifies 2x exp for mob kills up to 30% of your exp needed to level, and it expires in real-time/wall-clock. - Not outside of the game. The Lorebook and data.lotro.com have been gone since the summer of 2013 when the Forums were "fixed" (redone/updated.)
- The 5 things I listed above were the only items showing in the LOTRO Store. This particular item may or may not exist anymore. Given that the page was created back in 2011, it would not be surprising to find that it has been replaced by something else or otherwise had its characteristics changed. However, we have no way to know.

- I have updated things to reflect the current in-game situation.
- Tome of Extraordinary Experience - is the current item available "new" - This particular item still exists if you have one in your vault or pack, but it is no longer available for purchase; or apparently as a drop.
- Enhanced XP Supplies are still available from those gift boxes you get for reaching certain levels. Turbine has removed certain items from those boxes before but left those, so they are still available in-game. Also, the effects are different, the Tome of Extraordinary Experience gives the
Tome of Extraordinary Experience effect, while the Enhanced XP Supply adds a blue XP bar on your XP bar, very much like the VIP daily XP bar. They are two separate items that give you bonus XP in two separate ways, and both are still available in-game, albeit through different sources. Balorgor (talk) 03:44, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

I've rewritten most of the text describing the various Experience Boosts. Please look it over and feel free to fix/correct anything that needs it.
