Lore
Daegul (Sindarin for "Shadow-Wraith") are a type of wraith found in Rohan. How they differ from the Cargûl and other lesser wraiths is unclear. It is possible that the Daegul are low-ranking wraiths sent to simply haunt certain locations. Some Daegul appear to be prisoners of more powerful masters and are not malicious if freed. Unlike most of the Unseen, they are not clad in dark robes to make them visible in the mortal world. Instead, the Daegul wear ghostly armor, with most of their bodies being invisible or appearing only as a shadowy mist, maybe to make people believe they are ghosts.
Location
Daegul are found roaming the haunted fishing village of Fiskworth in the Writhendowns in Wildermore. [33.6S, 62.5W]
Background
Daegul do not appear in the work of J.R.R. Tolkien. They were created for The Lord of the Rings Online. Like the Cargûl, they are inspired by the lesser wraiths mentioned briefly in Tolkien's stories.
