Description

Cendric the Worthy was the 22nd Chieftain of the Éothéod and the son of Frúma. He succeeded his father when he was still young. He proved an exceptional lord, both a mighty warrior and a noble ruler, and was also blessed with a lengthy reign of peace and plenty. Cendric's rule lasted for fifty-seven years, ending with his death at age of seventy-nine. At this point, the Éothéod were more prosperous than ever before. Their numbers were beginning to grow too great for the Wells of Langflood to support. Cendric let it be known that the Éothéod had need of broader fields in which to roam. He even discussed with Cirion Gwaedhir, Steward of Gondor of the possibility of finding land somewhere in the south.

Cendric was succeeded by his son, Hárda.
