Category talk:Transclusion NPCs

I think it's a wiki-specific term, just a fancy way to say "inclusion." It's when all/part of one page is included in another using {{ }}. In the case of this category, all these NPCs are sort of "base" NPCs that get included on other pages. For example, since all the Hunter Trainers in the world sell the same items, we just make an NPC Hunter Trainer and tack that on to each individual hunter trainer out there. It makes it a lot easier to update and maintain all those pages when changing one page updates everything that "copies" its content. Sethladan 14:01, 12 September 2011 (EDT)
