Description
Glamagol was the last captain of the Sardirath, the Stone-wardens, an Arnorian order sworn to guard the Helcessar. Their fortress was at Agoroth, the Narrowdelve, in the ice-canyons of Forochel. After the dissolution of Arnor into three individual kingdoms, the secret of Agoroth's location and contents were forgotten. A storm sent by the Witch-king of Angmar buried the entrance to the fortress in snow and ice, and Glamagol and the Sardirath perished. However, sworn on an Oath-stone to guard it, they remained as shades until the late Third Age.
