This effect is available when the following conditions are met:

•  Adaptability is traited
• Increase Block & Parry Rating Application Chance is slotted on a legendary item

This effect has up to a 55% chance to be applied or tiered up on the Guardian, up to three times, upon each successful Block Response. The effect is consumed upon using one of the following Block Response skills:

•  Shield-swipe
•  Catch a Breath
